Location and Directions

319 Jones Lane Entrance

(From Reno and Carson City via Highway #395) - After you pass Carson City, travel South for about ten (10) miles until you reach the Town of Minden and Highway #88 (a major intersection with signal lights, with the Ironwood Cinema complex on the right). Take the right fork or turn right (you will pass Douglas High School) and proceed about two (2) miles until you reach another major intersection with a signal light identified as Mottsville Lane and a sign that also says “To the Kingsbury Grade”. Turn right toward the mountains (West).

Once you reach the base of the mountains at a stop sign, turn left (South) onto Foothill Road and go 1.9 miles (past Centerville Lane and Job’s Peak Ranch Development security gates about a 1/2 mile) to Jones Lane (right hand turn only) and turn right or West (white house, with rock lined drainage ditch sets on right hand side at South West corner of Foothill and Jones Lane). Travel straight up Jones Lane, which becomes the entrance and driveway to Buffalo Creek Ranch. Go through the gates and veer left adjacent to horse pasture with stone wall and three (3) rail fence. Go about two hundred (200’) feet and look for small sign that identifies “Ranch House Road” and veer right directly up main road (do not take left or right forks) toward the Ranch House located above the Silo. There is plenty of room to turn around a sixty-foot (60’) semi-trailer, so no problem. Park next to equipment shed. YOU HAVE ARRIVED!

301 Five Creek Road Entrance

(From Sacramento via Highway #50) - Travel to and then through South Shore Lake Tahoe and Stateline Nevada on Highway #50, past the hotel Casino’s (Harrah’s, Harvey’s and Caesar’s) approximately one (1) mile (North) to the Kingsbury Grade (signal light) and then turn right (East). Continue up the mountain for about three (3) miles and stay on the Kingsbury Grade down the mountain for approximately eight (8) miles until you reach a stop sign at the bottom of the mountain. Turn right (South) and go 1.5 miles (just past Centerville Lane) to the Job’s Peak Development entrance gates. Push the buttons at the security gate entrance and enter “Semas” and we will buzz you in. The gates will open and you should travel up the road for about a 1/2 mile and turn left into the very first entrance gates at 301 Five Creek Road (Buffalo Creek Ranch). Go through the gates, past the apple orchard and then turn right onto Orchard Road and follow the Ranch House sign to the end of the road and park in front of the Ranch House.

(From Los Angeles via Highway #395) - Go North on Highway #395 and after you pass Topaz Lake (two (2) hours North of Mammoth Lakes), travel through the town of Gardnerville, past Sharkey’s Casino, the Carson Valley Inn and the McDonald’s (on the left) until you reach Highway #88 (a major intersection with signal lights). Turn left and proceed about two (2) miles until you reach another signal light identified as Mottsville Lane and a sign that also says “To the Kingsbury Grade” and turn right toward the mountains (West).
